Our Trip to Bald Head
October 23-26th, 2008
Bald Head is an island that does not allow motorized vehicles. In fact, to get to the island, you must park your car on the mainland, and take a ferry across. While on the island, you drive electric golf carts to get from one place to another. Hayden obviously enjoyed his time and took his first driving lesson. Do not worry, he did not sit in the drivers lap while in motion.
While the weather was not very cooperative on Friday, it was gorgeous on Saturday. This picture was taken while walking to beach access. The outfit Hayden is wearing was worn by his daddy so many years ago... What a perfect looking little man!!!
After the wedding (and a change of clothes - it did get chilly). Hayden entertained the crowd while playing the drums. He was invited up by the drummer to sit in his lap while the band played "Old Time Rockin' Role". Hayden loves to beat on things, so it was no surprise to us that he grabbed a second stick (from the drummer's hand, no less) to finish up the song. Although the band was done playing, Hayden was not, and entertained the crowd with his first solo drum role!!!!!
